Plastic

Innovate and evolve, thinking to plastic.

Raw materials

To the consolidated and efficient rubber department, we added an innovative and technologically advanced department dedicated to the moulding of articles of thermoplastic injection. For the plastic production unit, the Lopigom R&D team, in collaboration with our suppliers, selects the raw materials which have to be used.

The main materials are:

ABS

PS

PC

PET

PBT

SAN

PP

PA6 / 6.6 / 11 / 12 / 6.9 / 6.10 / 6.12 /

PC+ABS

HDPE

LDPE

Articles

Our thermoplastic articles are destined to a wide range of markets:

Automotive, Householding applications, Cosmetics, Electromedical, Wellness, Building and Furnishing accessories. Today, we can satisfy the request for articles, with a minimum capacity of 5gr. and a maximum of 300gr., in the following types of moulding:

monocomponente

Thermoplastic single-component

With the use of this technology, we produce articles in tecnopolymer for any type of application.

bicomponente

Two-component

The two-injection is the most advanced technology for the production of articles of double component. Thanks to ad hoc instrumentations, with high technological content, we produce articles in two-component: Thermoplastic with Thermoplastic or Thermoplastic with LSR. This process begins from an analysis of the chemicals bonds of the two components to be injected together and continue with a development of the injection processes. The final result is represented by a finished article composed by two components which are inseparable between each other.

Overmoulding

It refers to Thermoplastic and LSR on metal inserts or on other inserts made of plastic. After a deepened study of the chemical nature of the components, we are able to offer you the perfect solution of adhesion. The overmoulding can be for chemical adherence, with the use of adhesives (primer), both for the mechanical union (which is developed starting from geometrical modification of the article) and to modification of the pressing process.
