Polypropylene PP

Polypropylene PP is a thermoplastic “addition polymer” made by combining propylene monomers. It is used in various everyday sectors, including many applications in the automotive sector.

Diluted bases and acids do not easily react with polypropylene, making it a good choice for containers of liquids such as detergents, first aid products, and more.

Polypropylene acts with elasticity for a specific range of deflection. It is generally considered a “hard” material.

Finally, this material maintains its shape after twisting, folding and/or bending. This property is fundamental to building durable hinges. Polypropylene has a very high resistance to electricity, making it ideal for electronic components.
